Whale-watching season is in full swing and St Michael’s beachgoers got quite an eyeful recently as two whales frolicked and breached close to the KwaZulu Natal shoreline.
The video captures the lucky sighting as the two happy whales playfully entertain the kids, who can be seen running to the fence to get a closer look at the fun.
A few surfers can also be seen swimming near the shore, with a better view, no doubt.
The whales rise and dip in the water, flipping up and about, allowing for some incredible video and photo opportunities.
