Agents voting in our latest Travel News poll said a high-season holiday in the Western Cape was the prime choice for South African clients this year. Thirty-seven percent said the Fairest Cape was the most popular holiday destination for clients’ year-end breaks; 25% voted for KZN; and 14% said bush safaris inside South Africa were most popular. Ten percent voted for Zanzibar, 5% for Africa outside SA, and 3% chose Mozambique and Seychelles. It seems South Africans are staying in their own hemisphere for the close of 2020 – with only 1% of agents voting for Europe and zero for the US. This week, we want agents’ opinions on the question: “After the lockdowns are over, will consumers demand a kinder, greener, more sustainable travel experience?” We want to hear your voice! Go to our home page and have your say in our poll.
We all want to escape to the Cape!
