Earlier reports of an explosion in the kitchen of the coffee shop at Lanseria Airport have been explained by airport manager Gavin Sayce.
“It was an incident in the kitchen where a can of Spray ‘n Cook was left on top of an oven and it appears to have exploded. It was an aerosol can so it made a very loud bang. Unfortunately it burnt one of the kitchen staff.”
The incident has not affected airport operations.
