Wilderness Group, a tour operator specialising in experiential tours and activities in Europe, has unveiled a series of E-bike tours across the UK.

“E-bikes are a silent revolution helping to make the magic of cycling accessible to many more people for longer,” said Stevie Christie, MD of Wilderness Scotland. “Available as an option on cycling trips alongside normal bikes, they level up the group, taking the strain out of cycling consecutive days. For anyone who loves life on two wheels but is worried about keeping up, it’s the perfect option and you still earn your café stops.”

Here’s what travellers can expect:

Wilderness England – The Cotswolds

Starting in Oxford, travellers can explore picturesque landscapes dotted with villages while they wind through the English countryside over a week. Days are filled with leisurely visits to ancient ruins, manors and cathedrals in Burford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bibury, Westonbirt and other towns. Groups will have ample stops at local eateries and be treated to traditional pub grub. Overnight accommodation has been selected based on location as well as the hospitality and attentiveness of staff.

Wilderness Scotland – The Orkney Islands and The Outer Hebrides

Cosy accommodation, quaint villages and ancient cultural and historic sites form part of Wilderness Scotland’s Orkney Islands six-day E-bike tour.
Meanwhile, the slightly longer Outer Hebrides experience that takes place over seven days sees travellers visiting five islands, starting in the Highlands in Inverness. Other stops include Uig on the Isle of Skye, North Uist, South Uist, Harris and Lewis.

Wilderness Ireland – Ireland’s West Coast

This week-long tour allows travellers to experience the boglands of Connemara, the Burren’s limestone topography and the white sandy beaches of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way while cycling meandering country roads through mountain passes and over lush rolling fields.
