Windstar has completed the remodelling of its Wind Star ship, with refurbishments on the Wind Surf and Wind Spirit now under way. This forms part of Windstar’s ‘Setting Sails’ initiative to refresh public spaces and staterooms across its fleet.
The 148-guest Wind Star has completed two stages of upgrades and will debut with an expanded reception area, lounge area and retail space, among other improvements.
The World Spa by Windstar and gym were remodelled with new furnishings and fitness equipment. The pool deck now has a new pool and Jacuzzi, an extended pool bar and new outdoor seating and lounging spaces.
Staterooms were upgraded with new upholstered headboards, integrated lighting and bedside charging. The Owner’s Suite was completely redesigned.
Amphora, its primary restaurant, and Veranda, the ship-top café for lunch and breakfast, have also been completely redecorated.
The renewed Wind Star embarked on its first sailing in the Mediterranean in April and will sail in the Greek Isles from June through October.
Surf and Spirit refurbs under way
The first phase of refurbishments on Wind Surf and Wind Spirit has been completed.
The 342-guest Wind Surf will undergo its second phase of renovations in the latter half of this year, where all its standard staterooms will be remodelled with new furniture, bedding, carpets, interactive televisions and art and décor. Phase two is expected to be completed by December.
The Amphora restaurant and Veranda café on the 148-guest Wind Spirit will be redone in March 2027, as well as all its suites.
