Women’s tourism summit

02 Aug 2022
Comments | 0

Womxn Xplore, a travel expo and summit supporting women in tourism, will take place in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape from August 19-20, offering a platform to engage and challenge the obstacles that women face in the sector. The event, supported by SATSA and South African Tourism, will be held at the Tramways Building and will consist of a workshop-style summit and a market-style expo.

The summit has invited woman-owned businesses from the Eastern Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga to register to exhibit. Registered attendees will be able to attend a tourism masterclass, funding masterclass, digital innovation clinic and PR strategy workshop, all hosted by industry leaders.

All women who work, own businesses, study, or invest in tourism but are not able to exhibit, are also welcome to join the summit on the first day.
