Air France, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic have announced their first codeshare agreement, allowing for improved transatlantic connections.
According to a statement from KLM, this partnership is a significant step toward a joint venture between the three airlines and Delta.
KLM and Air France will be able to access more than 20 new routes to North America on flights operated by Virgin and Delta. KLM and Air France customers now also have the option to fly either non-stop or via the UK, on all Delta services to the US.
Virgin Atlantic customers now have access to 58 new transatlantic routes from 18 UK airports on Air France and KLM flights. Virgin customers travelling between the UK and the US can also now choose to connect on to all Delta’s flights over Amsterdam and Paris.
