AF to link Paris and Strasbourg by high-speed train

From April 2, Air France will link Strasbourg to its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle by rail services with an Air France flight number, in collaboration with the SNCF French Railways.

Air France will offer four daily frequencies between Strasbourg and the station located at the heart of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This new service will be available for purchase from December 13 at airfrance.fr, from travel agents and Air France ticket offices.

Customers travelling on Air France long-haul or medium-haul flights will make just one reservation when purchasing their trip. They will have just one ticket and a single point of contact for their trip by plane and train. For more flexibility, passengers will be able to check in up to 15 minutes before the train departure time for their entire trip.

In Strasbourg and at CDG, all passengers will be greeted by Air France agents. They will benefit from a free service for loading and unloading their baggage in a large dedicated area and bags will be labelled ‘priority’ to facilitate connections.

At the airport, passengers will have easy access to terminals 2E or 2F, both a six-minute walk from the station platform without leaving the airport. They will have access to dedicated baggage drop-off counters for more speed and fluidity.

In the train, all passengers will travel in first class, regardless of the cabin they are travelling in on the flight, thus benefiting from additional comfort, a large personal area, a Wi-Fi connection and electrical outlets. In Strasbourg, a taxi service will be available to La Première (First) and business-class customers. Members of the frequent flyer programme Flying Blue can earn miles on the rail journey.
