Air India has announced the temporary reductions and suspensions on multiple routes operated by B787 and B777 aircraft due to maintenance and operational reasons.
“The reductions arise from the decision to voluntarily undertake enhanced pre-flight safety checks, as well as accommodate additional flight durations arising from airspace closures in the Middle East. The objective is to restore schedule stability and minimise last-minute inconvenience to passengers,” said Air India.
The four weekly Delhi-Nairobi flights will be suspended until July 15.
Additionally, the airline will reduce its frequencies on other routes, including its Delhi-London Heathrow, Bengaluru-London Heathrow, Delhi-Birmingham, Delhi-Paris, Delhi-Amsterdam, Delhi-Milan and Delhi-Copenhagen routes.
