Last Thursday (September 13), 309 members of the trade attended the virtual travel expo, the Into Africa Trade Show, from their desks.
The event was ‘gamified’, meaning that delegates were automatically entered into a cash draw when they registered and could improve their chance of winning by engaging virtually with the speakers and exhibitors at the show.
The points were awarded as follows:
Logging into the event earned extra entries, as did watching an auditorium speaker, completing a survey, chatting to an exhibitor , viewing an exhibitor booth video ,visiting an exhibit hall booth, downloading a booth document, clicking on an exhibitor booth menu link, and clicking on an exhibitor booth banner.
The winners were selected in a random draw.

The winner of the R3 000 cash prize is Gavin Rennie.
The three winners of the R1 000 each are Hendrina Ashetu, Ingrid Hassim, and Juanita Pitout.
