Celebrity Cruises has taken delivery of its newest ship, Celebrity Xcel, and announced the name of its sixth Edge series ship.
Celebrity Xcel will set sail in November from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night itineraries between The Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St Thomas and St Maarten.
In Summer 2026, Celebrity Xcel will sail the Mediterranean on seven- to 11-night journeys out of Barcelona and Athens, including new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.
The sixth Edge Series ship has been named Celebrity Xcite and is expected to debut in 2028.
