A Croatian cruise company is offering an immersive Game of Thrones experience – a seven-day cruise departing on August 20.
The seven-day voyage begins and ends in Split on the Adriatic. The city was the on-screen home of Diocletian’s Palace where the Dragon Dungeons were located.
Travellers will have the opportunity to sit on the Iron Throne, explore the stand-in location for the city of Qarth, Lokrum Island, and discover Klis Fortress, the filming location for the city of Meereen.
Cruisers also visit the Game of Thrones Museum, home to authentic props, actual-size figures and more.
Guests will also explore Dubrovnik, where a walking excursion will take them through the Red Keep, Walk of Shame and Blackwater Bay.
The cruise was announced just prior to the launch of the new ‘House of the Dragon’ series, premiering on August 21. The new series is set 200 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Guests will be treated to the première of ‘House of the Dragon’ on the cruise.
