Visa applicants at the Egyptian Embassy in Pretoria are now required to provide a certified copy of the biometric page of their passport.
The requirement is effective immediately, and applicants will need to submit a certified copy every time they apply for a new visa, explains marketing director at Visas International, Robert Ramsden.
Processing times have returned to around five to seven working days from the date of successful lodgement.
