Emerald Cruises has revealed more details about the design and amenities on its new ship, Emerald Astra.
The ship features a modern, grey-tinted glass exterior and will accommodate 180 guests.
The updated design will offer guests amenities including a pool, cinema, multiple dining options and a sun deck dedicated to relaxation and panoramic views. All interiors have also been enhanced with a sleek, contemporary design and art installations.
Emerald Astra will depart on its inaugural nine-day voyage from Budapest, Hungary, on May 3. It will sail through the riverscapes of Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria before arriving in a final port in Romania's capital Bucharest.
The ship will then operate a series of European river itineraries, including Enchantment of Eastern Europe, Rhine Castles & Moselle Vineyards, Jewels of the Rhine, Splendours of Europe and The Majestic Rhine.
