European Sleeper joins Eurail

Dutch-Belgian rail carrier European Sleeper has become part of Eurail’s European rail network.

From July 1, the Eurail pass allows passengers to board the European Sleeper train between Brussels and Berlin. Stops include Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Deventer, reports ttgmedia.com.

The new collaboration allows pass holders to cover large distances, like Edinburgh to Berlin, and only use one of the travel days included on their pass.

“We are delighted to welcome European Sleeper amidst our carrier membership, “said Carlo Boselli, Eurail CEO. European Sleeper Co-Founder Chris Engelsman added: “We are very happy to welcome Interrail and Eurail pass holders on board our night trains. We consider this partnership a great way to promote the most remarkable and responsible way to travel across Europe.”

European Sleeper plans to expand its network early next year to include Dresden and Prague.
