Breaking News: FlySafair crew dispute resolved

FlySafair has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with the South African Cabin Crew Association, bringing an end to a labour dispute that has extended over the past several weeks.

The airline and unions representing its pilots and cabin crew finalised extended multi-year agreements, which ensure labour stability among crew for the next four years.

FlySafair says its operations remained fully stable throughout the negotiations.

The airline now plans to ramp up its capacity ahead of the G20 summit and the busy festive travel season.

“We’re very pleased to have reached an agreement that provides long-term stability and recognises the valuable contribution of our cabin crew,” said Kirby Gordon, Chief Marketing Officer at FlySafair.

“This agreement allows us to move forward with confidence into an important period for both the company and the broader aviation sector.”
