Frankfurt Airport has launched a new up-to-the-minute, all the way to departure flight information e-mail service that automatically keeps both passengers and meeters and greeters informed.
This free service immediately advises passengers of any changes to their flights so they can adjust their plans accordingly. Everyone who registers online for a flight receives an e-mail every time there is a change in its status. For example, if the departure time is moved up or back or when a gate is assigned. The flight information e-mail service also lets passengers know which check-in counters they should use. There are even parking recommendations for those who drive passengers to the airport.
The service can be set up for any flight departing anytime during the next four weeks. Signing up for it is easy: simply go to www.frankfurt-airport.de and click on the “Flights” tab, then on “E-Mail FlightInfo.” In the online form, enter the flight number and departure date and the e-mail address that you want the updates to be sent to. No personal data are required. After the flight leaves, all entered information is automatically deleted.
