XL Turners Travel has acquired Grindrod Travel’s corporate travel division as part of its strategic growth plan.
The acquisition followed Grindrod Group’s decision to dispose of its non-core assets and focus on its port and logistics businesses, XL Turners Travel said in a statement.
Key Grindrod staff have joined the Turners team. Clients of both companies will benefit from enhanced corporate travel services, greater operational capacity and a wider range of experienced travel specialists.
“It is a good fit, as both companies are well established in the travel industry and share a strong corporate culture,” said Linda Edwards, MD of XL Turners Travel.
