ORGANISED by On Show Solutions, the tourism boards of Argentina (Inprotur), Brazil (Embratur), Chile (Turismo Chile) and Peru (PromPeru) will host South America workshops in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town to promote the region through workshops from May 30-June 3.
The aim of these three events is to strengthen the awareness of South America as a tourism destination and to establish closer relationships with the trade.
The workshop will be held by tour operators, hotels, services, airlines and the tourism boards of these destinations to show the extensive offer to be found within South America.
The workshop details are as follows:
Johannesburg: May 30 at the Wanderers Club from 14h00-18h00
Durban: June 1 at the Protea Hotel The Edward from 09h00-13h00
Cape Town: June 3 at the Mount Nelson from 09h00-13h00
These events will be divided into three stages. First an integrated presentation of all four countries which will provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about the destinations showing their cultural, historic and natural diversity as well as the different wonders that can be experienced in each country. Next, there will be a workshop where South American exhibitors and South African trade will have the opportunity to meet for one-on-one presentations. The events will end with cocktails and a prize giving.
