The Department of Home Affairs will extend operating hours in early January to accommodate clients during this busy period.
Between January 2 and 11, a number of large and medium-sized Home Affairs offices across the country will operate from 07h00 to 19h00. The decision comes after the department experienced long queues during this period last year. The offices will offer all services as normal, including application for and collection of passports.
