Israel's second international airport ready to open

Israel is set to open its second international airport in Eilat on January 22, according to Reuters

Ramon Airport, a $500 million (R6,9bn) project, will begin operating domestic flights and gradually move to international operations in March.

Initially, Ramon will accommodate more than two million passengers a year, with plans to grow to 4,5 million in the future.
