Lufthansa cabin crew plan 48-hour strike this week

The union representing Lufthansa cabin crew, UFO, has called for 48-hour industrial action on November 7 and 8.

The disruption will affect all departures from Germany. In a statement posted on social media, Lufthansa has strongly condemned the strike call and says it will examine legal action against it. The airline adds that it is working on a special timetable.

The industrial action is part of an ongoing dispute over pay and pensions, following a strike on October 20.
