Noto Satoyama Airport, a domestic airport in Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture, is being temporarily rebranded as a Pokémon attraction between July 7, 2026 and September 30, 2029.
For the next three years, Pokémon characters will be visible throughout the airport.
Restaurants will offer Pokémon-themed refreshments in the form of pancakes and drinks, while retail shops will be selling Pokémon souvenirs, such as luggage tags, keychains, and clothing.
A new shuttle bus will connect Pokémon sightseeing spots in the region, including the ‘Wakura Pokémon Foot Bath’ that opened on May 12, and the ‘Nymphia with LOVE’ monument in Suzu City.
The bus will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays (excluding winter periods), and summer vacation periods from mid-July.
