Turkish Airlines has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records for the “most countries flown to by an airline”.
The record certificate was presented at Santiago International Airport following Turkish Airlines’ inaugural flight to Chile.
Based on Guinness World Records evaluation criteria, Turkish Airlines set the record with flights to 120 countries on active routes over the past 12 months.
Including temporarily suspended routes and the inaugural flight to Chile, Turkish Airlines’ flight network now spans 131 countries.
