MSC Cruises advises agents

MSC Cruises reminds agents using the B2B system that all passengers must to complete the online booking form themselvesto secure their cruise.  “It is a requirement that a booking form is completed by all passengers before being permitted to cruise with MSC Cruises. No cruise tickets will be issued without the fully completed booking forms having been received by MSC Cruises, and the passengers cannot embark the ship without the required embarkation tickets,” explains press officer Ingrid N Roding-Tudor.
The online booking form can be forwarded to customers from the website, allowing them to read through and accept the Terms & Conditions. The following details need to be provided by agents to customers so that they can complete the online booking form correctly. Details should match the exact details used on MSC Online:
• Booking number • Surname • Name • Ship • Departure date
“It is also imperative that the emergency contact name and phone number details are completed on the online booking form. This is a very important requirement in case of any unforeseen circumstances where the next of kin needs to be contacted. It is not advisable to have your own or your agency contact details in this space. We require the passengers’ ICE (In case of Emergency) contact person and details,” says Ingrid.
