New experiences on Silversea’s world cruise

Silversea Cruises is adding new experiences to its ‘The Curious and the Sea’ 2026 world cruise on Silver Dawn.

New experiences include two events in Cape Town and Madeira:

  • ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ – Cape Town: A culinary event at Vergelegen Conservatory, hosted with South African Michelin-star chef, Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen.
  • ‘Feast of Flowers in Funchal’ – Madeira: Celebrate the annual floral festival and the local customs.

Other highlights include a Bon Voyage soirée in Fort Lauderdale, a farewell at a secret location, as well as the following events:

  • ‘Polynesian Dreams’ – French Polynesia: Explore cultures of local communities in a tropical beach setting.
  • ‘The Magic of Mystery Island’ – Vanuatu: Dancers from islands surrounding Vanuatu will perform cultural rituals.
  • ‘From Paddy to Plate’ – Bali: Authentic performances and traditional dress displays will take place among Bali’s rice paddies
  • ‘The Exotic Marigold and More’ – India: Following a tuk-tuk ride, guests journey into the backwaters of Alleppey for an afternoon of traditional entertainment.

The voyage departs January 6, 2026 from Fort Lauderdale and ends May 27, 2026 in Lisbon, taking guests to six continents.
