New walking safaris in Pilanesberg

BAKUBUNG Bush Lodge in
Pilanesberg National Park
now offers walking safaris for
its guests.
The guided tour takes
guests on a hike through
the mountains where they
learn about the geology,
wildlife and plant life of the
region. The walk also offers
the chance to view the Big
Five.
Walking safaris are done on
a request basis in groups of
up to eight guests. The walk
takes from four to five hours
and the lodge provides a
‘breakfast box’ consisting of
a sandwich, fruit, chocolate
and a cold drink.
Guests staying at Kwa
Maritane can also do the
walk from Bakubung while
Kwa Maritane finalises
details to provide walking
safaris for its guests.
