NTB, Lloyd Orr part ways

The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) has announced that, after 10 years of representation, it has been forced to cut ties with its South African partner, Lloyd Orr Communications.

Digu //Naobeb, ceo of the NTB, said in a statement: “The Namibia Tourism Board in recent weeks had to make some strategic decisions to realign its business processes. One of the decisions we made was to consolidate our marketing and public relations efforts to be handled in-house as a cost reduction measure. The aim is to execute a flawless transition to ensure continued and reliable support for all our public relations stakeholders.”

Referring to Lloyd Orr Communications, he said the agency had assisted the NTB since 2003 and had been integral in ensuring meaningful exposure and growth for Namibia as a destination for many years and that the NTB regretted having to part ways.
