South African Airways has advised that the passenger service charge levied on all travellers departing on domestic and/or international flights from South African airports has been revised. This new charge is effective immediately for travel on or after January 1, 2018.
The revised fee for international departures from all South African airports to Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland is R169.00 per passenger. Other international destinations will carry a revised fee of R223.00.
Tickets with a future travel date issued prior to the revision will require a combination of the two applicable taxes. Refer to TI for full information.
