Premier Hotels will reopen more properties in August, following the June reopening of Premier Splendid Inn Bloemfontein, Premier Hotel Mapungubwe, Premier Hotel ELICC and Premier Hotel Regent, the hotel group has said in a press release.

July should see the reopening of Premier Hotel OR Tambo, Premier Hotel Midrand, Premier Hotel Pretoria, Premier Splendid Inn Pinetown, Premier Hotel The Richards and Premier Splendid Inn Bayshore.

Properties due to open in August are: Premier Hotel Cape Town; Premier Hotel Quatermain and Premier Hotel Falstaff (both of these are currently being upgraded and refurbished);  Premier Hotel The Winkler;  Premier Resort Mpongo Private Game Reserve and Premier Splendid Inn Port Edward.

Some of Premier’s resort-style hotels will reopen in September, such as Premier Hotel Roodevalley (also receiving an upgrade programme), Premier Hotel Sani Pass and Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna.

October will see the launch of the newly developed Umhlanga precinct, which features Premier Hotel Umhlanga, Premier Splendid Inn and a new conference centre, all on one site in Umhlanga Ridge. On the KZN South Coast, the Premier Resort Cutty Sark in Scottburgh will open after a multi-million-rand refurbishment.

The group says it is opening booking channels for all its hotels into 2021
