The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Port Elizabeth. The 173-room hotel is situated at Summerstrand’s beachfront with views of Algoa Bay and is within walking distance of Blue Flag beaches, the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Complex, Oceanarium and several museums. It is five minutes from the airport. The property features a restaurant, bar and lounge, spa and gym. The rooms and suites, with uninterrupted sea views, offer individual climate control and flat-panel LCD televisions with a large selection of satellite channels. Free wireless Internet access is offered to all registered guests. The hotel incorporates ‘smart building’ technology that enhances sustainability and energy conservation.
