Royal Caribbean International has begun construction of its seventh Oasis-class ship, which is set to enter service in 2028.
The cruise line hosted the steel-cutting ceremony at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, last week.
Representatives from Royal Caribbean and Chantiers de l'Atlantique attended the event to commemorate the moment alongside the teams of innovators, naval engineers, architects and designers.
Further details about the new ship, including its name, will be announced at a later date.
