SAA announces fare increases

29 Oct 2013 - by Tammy Sutherns

SAA is to increase fares from South Africa and will introduce fare changes on some of its routes.
Regional fares will be increased for all tickets issued on or after October 29. These updates will reflect on all systems. Fares to Europe will also increase from October 29, with a R100 increase for an economy-class round trip and a R500 increase for a business-class round trip.
SAA will also realign fares and classes from Southern Africa to HKG and BJS from October 29, with all tickets issued on or after October 29 reflecting the changes. The new ‘V’ Plus and ‘L/W’ Saver fares will be introduced all year round, allowing agents to sell these fares at any time with no cut-off period. Revised special ‘GBJS1Y’ fares to BJS will be valid for sales and travel until January 31.
