Silversea has launched its 2026/27 Antarctica season, introducing its new hotel, The Cormorant at 55 South, in Puerto Williams, Chile, as part of its Antarctica Fly Cruise programme.
Three expedition ships (Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud) will operate 40 voyages until March 2027, including 29 fly-cruise itineraries. Voyages range from six to 21 nights and include destinations such as the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
All 29 fly-cruise itineraries will include a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South, which will welcome its first guests this season ahead of its official opening on November 5. The hotel is designed to streamline access to Antarctica, with private charter flights connecting Santiago to Puerto Williams.
Guests will be able to take part in guided hikes on Navarino Island, kayaking on the Beagle Channel and horseback excursions with local wilderness guides. Dining will be available at Latitude 55, which will serve Patagonian-inspired cuisine, while Bar Sur will offer Chilean wines and cocktails.
The programme includes charter flights, expedition experiences and Zodiac outings. Selected voyages will also explore destinations beyond the Antarctic Peninsula, including South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
