Singapore Airlines has revised its revalidation policies, with changes having come into effect earlier this week.
Sales agents may now only perform ticket revalidations when there is a change in flight time, number and/or date, and provided they adhere to the following requirements:
- No change to the booking class or RBD
- No difference in fare level
- Within the ‘not valid before’ and ‘not valid after’ (NVB/NVA) dates
- No rerouting
- On a 618-ticket
- Flight restrictions are adhered to
- Advance purchase conditions are adhered to
Customers would have to reissue the ticket should the request to revalidate the ticket fail. The airline also reserves the right to issue an ADM should all requirements not be adhered to.
