Reliable industry sources say the new government travel policy that came into effect on
July 1 is currently under review and is likely to be changed, with a new implementation
date of April 2017. Sources could not confirm if the changes were applicable to all
government departments or only those that have yet to implement the new policy.
National Treasury was unable to give comment at the time of going to press.
