MSC Poesia has returned from refurbishment ahead of its inaugural Alaska sailing beginning in May. The northern summer 2026 season marks MSC Cruises’ first time to sail in Alaska.
The upgraded MSC Poesia now features MSC Yacht Club, new speciality dining venues, including Butcher’s Cut, an American-style steakhouse, and Kaito Sushi Bar, offering freshly prepared sushi and Asian dishes.
The MSC Aurea Spa has been redesigned and features updated treatment rooms with cold weather treatments and a refreshed thermal area. The MSC Gym has also been upgraded with new equipment, dedicated studio spaces and personalised wellness consultations.
MSC Poesia will depart on a special Panama Canal sailing to Seattle on April 23 and will arrive in Seattle on May 11 for the first seven-night Alaska sailing, visiting Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Endicott Arm, and Juneau in Alaska; and Victoria, Canada.
