Sydney Airport has introduced a paid passenger assistance service, SYD Hosts, for international travellers using Terminal 1.
Departing passengers can book a host to accompany them from a designated meeting point through check-in, security and passport control to their lounge or departure gate.
Arriving passengers are met at the gate and assisted through immigration, baggage collection and onward transport arrangements.
The service must be booked online in advance. Passengers can select from different service options, with a host assigned to each booking.
