The Avani Bel-Ombré Mauritius Resort & Spa will open during 2019. The resort will be located along
a stretch of the island’s unspoilt southern coast, about 30 minutes from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam
International Airport, and is aimed at millennial-minded travellers seeking a unique travel experience.
The 150-room beachfront hotel will offer accommodation in 134 standard rooms, 16 suites, and 12 fourbedroom
residential (offer-for-purchase) pool villas. Meeting facilities will be able to handle a range of
events – from MICE bookings, to weddings and other celebratory functions. Other facilities include a gym,
six-room spa, children’s entertainment area, boathouse, pool bar and two restaurants.
