Applications for Schengen visas for travellers to the Czech Republic are now accepted at VFS Global
Centres in Johannesburg and Durban. Travellers can also apply through the VFS Global Centre in Pretoria
and Cape Town and for short-term visas at the embassy of the Czech Republic in Pretoria. Applications for
long-term visas and residence permits still have to be lodged at the embassy in Pretoria.
