French Railways (SNCF) has integrated bookings for Deutsche Bahn (DB) and Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) into the SNCF Connect app.
Travellers can now book rail journeys across France, Germany and Switzerland, including itineraries involving multiple operators, with access to more than 300 destinations.
Central Vietnam set for tourist train
Central Vietnam is set to launch a new tourist train linking Hue and Phong Nha on September 1.
According to Vietnam’s state-owned DTiNews, authorities in Quang Tri Province are working with Vietnam Railways to finalise the project. The service aims to strengthen regional connectivity along the existing rail network while improving access to key tourism destinations.
The journey is expected to take about four and a half hours, with stops at Dong Ha, My Trach, Dong Hoi and Tho Loc stations.
