TRAVELPORT has unveiled a new and improved version of its e-tracker product.
With the increasing complexity of managing electronic tickets, the automated e-ticketing solution provides the South African travel trade with an accurate way of tracking and analysing e-tickets issued, giving agents the ability to record, monitor and access comprehensive reports in real time.
With advanced search options, criteria selections and reporting features, Travelport’s highly anticipated e-tracker v.2 is the ultimate e-ticket tracking solution, with a host of new capabilities that respond to the growing requirements of the South African travel trade.
These include expanded search functions so that agents can find e-tickets by branch, travel agent name, passenger name or frequent flyer number. Importantly, e-tracker reports now include new fields such as fare basis, giving agents a clear idea of applicable fare rules and conditions. Ticket value can be easily identified, with a link to the image of the ticket accessible through the report.
Agencies are leveraging the tool to not only reduce the time they spend on managing e-tickets but to generate cost savings by managing refunds and exchanges more efficiently.
Travel agents can access e-tracker online at https://etracker.galileo.com or from any customised Galileo Viewpoint toolbar. Reports can be downloaded directly into Microsoft Excel, improving the efficiency of an agent’s workflow by eliminating the need to access a separate system.
