UPDATE: Princess Cruises quarantines ship

The guests aboard Princess Cruises’ quarantined ship have been disembarked to complete their quarantine period at a shoreside facility.

Last updated February 14.

Princess Cruises cancelled its February 12 Diamond Princess cruise, set to depart from Yokohama, after 10 guests on board tested positive for coronavirus.

The ship was put under quarantine on February 4 and will remain in Yokohama for at least 14 days as required by the Ministry of Health.

The cruise line already conducts pre-boarding medical evaluations and requires health reporting from all guests but due to the rapid spread of the virus, guests may be required to undergo additional health screening measures by local health officials before they disembark at any of the ports visited. Entry requirements are subject to change.
