US airports lift ban on cigarette lighters

THE Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has relaxed restrictions on carry-on items at United States airports. As of August 4, passengers will be allowed to bring their disposable and refillable butane cigarette lighters, such as Bic and Zippo brands, on board flights. However, torch-style lighters will still be prohibited. Also, mothers will be permitted to carry baby milk in quantities exceeding the 100ml restriction as long as it is declared for inspection at security checkpoints.
