US visa appointment delays

18 Jan 2019 - by eTNW
Comments | 0

Visas and Passports Unlimited has advised of delays in the availability of visa appointments for the US.

The first available appointments for Durban and Johannesburg are January 30 and February 20 respectively. No slots are currently available for Cape Town.

The company has offered assistance with requesting expedited appointments and is looking for earlier slots on behalf of customers.  However, earlier appointments are not guaranteed and clients have been advised to apply early to avoid disappointment.

US visa delays have been an ongoing issue. In November, eTNW reported how clients had to cancel their trips after the US Embassy was unable to process visa applications before the date of travel, due to appointment delays.
