Citizen and Immigration Canada has advised that single and multiple-entry visas now cost the same.
Previously, a single-entry visa cost R700 (CAD75) and multiple-entry R1 400 (CAD150). Both visas now cost R980 (CAD100) but it is at the discretion of the issuing officer whether to issue a single or multiple-entry visa to applicants. Travellers are advised to apply for a multiple-entry visa.
Family visas, which previously cost R3 700 (CAD400), have increased to R4 900 (CAD500).
Transit visas are free.
