THE African Business Travel
Association (ABTA) will host
its first annual conference
from November 2-4 at the
Sheraton Pretoria Hotel.
The conference will
focus on business travel
trends, challenges and
opportunities, and will
provide attendees with
the opportunity to interact
with fellow members of the
business travel industry and
form contacts in emerging
markets. It aims to equip
travel professionals with
greater knowledge of
business travel in Africa.
“We are thrilled to be
able to host an educationrich
two-and-a-half-day
conference, supported by
top travel buyers, TMCs
and suppliers across Africa.
This conference has been
a long time coming and,
with our ABTA members
regularly indicating a real
eagerness to be able to
meet with their peers from
other African countries, we
feel that the time is now
right to embark on this new
and exciting project,” says
Monique Swart, founder
of ABTA.
