Lufthansa Group airlines will resume flights to Dubai from the end of October, according to the following schedule:
- Lufthansa from Frankfurt: five weekly flights starting October 26
- Lufthansa from Munich: five weekly flights starting October 25
- Austrian Airlines from Vienna: five weekly flights starting December 12
- SWISS from Zurich: daily flights starting October 27
- Eurowings from Berlin: daily flights starting November 1
- Eurowings from Cologne-Bonn: three weekly flights starting November 3
- Eurowings from Stuttgart: four weekly flights starting November 1
AF to open JFK lounge
Air France will open its largest lounge, spanning 2 700sqm, at JFK’s new Terminal One next year.
The lounge is split over two levels with seating for more than 400 passengers. Travellers will have access to dining areas celebrating French cuisine, as well as a bar featuring a selection of French wines and champagnes.
Dedicated areas for beauty treatments, relaxation and work will also be available, while Flying Blue Ultimate members will have access to a reserved space.
La Première customers will have access to a private area and signature dining experiences.
Amex opens Schiphol lounge
American Express has opened a new Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, marking its 33rd Centurion Lounge worldwide.
The nearly 600sqm lounge, located between Concourses E and F, is open daily from 06h00 to 21h30 and offers dining, a full bar, locally sourced coffee, private resting rooms and workspaces.
The lounge draws on Dutch art, architecture and landscapes, with works from local artists featured throughout.
