ET changes baggage policy, adds Bahrain flights
ETHIOPIAN Airlines has changed its baggage policy to Nairobi and
Mumbai as follows. On Nairobi flights the allowance in economy
class is now two pieces of 32kg each and in business class,
passengers are allowed three pieces of 32kg each. On the Mumbai
service, economy-class passengers are allowed three pieces of 23kg
each and in business class, four pieces of 23kg each. The Mumbai
change is valid for travel up to August 30 after which it reverts to
the original allowance. In other news, Ethiopian started services
from Addis Ababa to Bahrain on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from August 17. Flight ET 0422 departs Addis Ababa at 21h25 and
arrives in Dammam at 01h35 next day. The flight departs Dammam
at 02h20 and arrives in Bahrain at 02h45. ET 0422 will depart
Bahrain at 03h30 and arrive in Addis Ababa at 08h00. The flight
will be serviced by a B737-800 with 16 seats in business class and
138 seats in economy.
