AirlinePros is new GSA for Norse Atlantic, Precision Air

AirlinePros International has been appointed the GSA for Precision Air in South Africa.

The Tanzanian airline is a member of Aasa and, according to the GSA, the outbound travel market to Tanzania from South Africa has grown recently, with international departures increasing by 40% in 2023. The upward trend is aligned with the broader recovery observed in the travel and tourism sector.

AirlinePros says intraregional travel within Africa is popular with South Africans, who prefer vacations that include visiting friends or family, beach holidays, city breaks and cultural tours.

“We anticipate that this partnership will not only benefit both organisations, but also provide South African travellers with enhanced access to East Africa’s spectacular wildlife destinations, plus its ethnically diverse cities that are rich in culture,” says Karin Matodes, Commercial Director of AirlinePros South Africa.

Airlinepros SA has also recently been appointed GSA for Norse Atlantic Airways, which began flights between Cape Town and London Gatwick on October 29.

Norse Atlantic is one of the top-four airlines in Northern Europe, according to AirlinePros, with innovative, long-haul, low-cost routes connecting major cities in Europe and the United States.

The airline's recent addition of the Cape Town-London-Gatwick service is its longest non-stop route to date, as reported in Travel News.

“Norse Atlantic’s pioneering approach to travel aligns with the evolving needs of the modern traveller, and we are eager to bring this unique travel experience closer to home,” says Matodes.
